Sharjah police is investigating the death of an Asian worker who died at a construction site in Bu Daniq in Sharjah.
The police operations room received a call on Tuesday morning reporting the incident.
The Bangladeshi victim, 31, allegedly died after being electrocuted as he was trying to connect some wires while at work on the site.
The officials said that the victim was not wearing safety gear at the time of the incident and the company for which he worked has not adhered to the safety regulations by making it mandatory for him to wear the gear.
The police is interrogating the company officials to ensure that there were no criminal motive behind the death.
