One of the major reasons for road accidents is careless driving. With more vehicles being introduced, it is not easy to avoid accidents but a bit of alertness and safety precautions could help motorists while driving.
As per the recent figures from the Ministry of Interior, two people die in road accidents in UAE every day.
The number of accidents in UAE decreased from 4,796 in 2015 to 4,788 in 2016, while the number of road deaths have increased. An increase of 7.4 per cent was registered in 2016 with 725 deaths, compared to 675 deaths in 2015.
Many accidents are reported in Dubai every day with thousands of motorists driving their way to work and not following the traffic rules.
