A construction project in Sharjah has achieved a world record for the longest continuous pour of concrete, which lasted for 62 hours.
Guinness World Record was achieved at the construction site of Safari Mall project. The project is being developed by Mazaya engineers consultants at a cost of Dh250 million.
622 labourers worked in multiple shifts to pour 20.246 cubic metres of concrete and a total of 4,600 tonnes of steel was used. The concrete pouring was carried out by ConMix by installing 12 concrete pumps at the site.
