One of the Dubai expat has shared her frustration after her UberEATS account was hacked by someone in London, who bought $300 worth of fried chicken and alcohol with her account.
A 22-year-old Italian expat, was shocked to see the purchases as she is a vegetarian and doesn’t drink alcohol. She was on a visit to Australia and received a notification from her account.
After the incident was reported, Uber reimbursed Mario with the full amount that was spent by the hackers.
Several online security breaches have hit the world in the past month.This month, 17 million Zomato accounts were hacked.
