A total of 175 abandoned vehicles were issued fines and warnings as part of a three-day campaign improve the city’s appearance.
The municipality urged residents to avoid leaving vehicles in public places for long periods, allowing dust to accumulate.
The campaign is part of an annual inspection programme aimed at keeping the city clean, improving its appearance, improving safety and security, and reducing pollution.
