The department of Municipal Affairs and Transport unveiled a plan to provide high quality affordable housing to low-income families in Abu Dhabi. It is designed to benefit families who earn fixed monthly or annual incomes. The rent levels are kept at a rate not exceeding 35% of the individual’s income levels. The municipality said this initiative is aimed at helping the commercial property developers also with expected RoI at 21-28 % per annum.
This initiative aims to provide proper and legal options of residential units befitting the financial means of low-income individuals.
