Nominations for the Abu Dhabi Awards, which honours those who go the extra mile to make the emirate a better place to live and work will be accepted from April 16, the awards organising committee announced on Tuesday.
Emiratis and expatriates of any gender or age can send in their nominations for the awards.
A previous awardee, Dr Taisser Atrak, head of paediatrics at Mafraq Hospital, who was recognised for dedicating his spare time for campaigning for child safety in 2011 said he’s happy a new law making seatbelts compulsory for children and adults has been introduced.
