The second edition of the Sharjah Bridal Fair, one of the most prestigious, respected and attractive fairs of its kind in the region, has announced that all proceeds generated from its entrance fees will be donated to the ‘Ameera Fund’, an initiative launched by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, in recognition of the late Ameera Bin Karam’s tireless efforts and rich contribution to humanitarian work, as well as her inspirational voluntary and charitable support of cancer patients in the UAE and beyond.
Bin Karam, her mother and sister died last year after a fire engulfed their Sharjah home. She was Chairperson of Sharjah Business Women Council and the founding member and President of Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP).
