Two Iranians stood trial at the Sharjah court, accused of stabbing an Indian taxi driver to death during a robbery bid.
The Sharjah Criminal Court, presided by judge Hussain Al Ousofi, read the prosecution sheet to the two accused – identified as A.A. and S.M.
During the hearing, the second accused denied the charges of robbery and murder. When confronted by the judge about his confession during the prosecution interrogation, he said he didn’t commit any crime, but made the confession due to pressure.
