In response to request made by a woman on air, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the building of a nursery inside the Kuwaiti Hospital in Sharjah.
The woman employee who works at the hospital stressed the need for the nursery inside their place of work through a radio programme aired by the Sharjah Broadcasting Service.
Expressing her delight at the Sharjah Ruler’s quick response, Amna Karam, director of the hospital, said: “The kind gesture of Dr Sheikh Sultan has brought joy to all the working mothers – doctors, nurses and paramedics, be it Emiratis or expatriates.”
