A woman has been fined Dh200 after the insisted on committing a traffic offence despite the head of the UAE Federal Traffic Council warning her not to.
Major General Mohammad Saif Al Zafein said that the motorist was blocking the road in front of him in order to cut into line at a busy junction, But instead of apologising and driving to the right to return to the junction via a u-turn, she didn’t move and kept blocking the road and trying to cut in front of other cars on the left lane.
despite awareness campaigns, warnings and having more patrols on the road to enforce the law, many drivers still insist on committing traffic offence.
