The mother of a 9-year-old boy, who was allegedly subjected to repeated beatings as well as abuse by the school principal and teachers with termination , has sought intervention of authorities .
The woman alleged that apart from the thrashings, her child was also forced to sweep the floor of the school in front of his classmates, adding that when she visited the campus and raised objection, the principal assaulted her verbally.
She claimed that she even went to the Ministry of Education, and to the minister’s office, but was not allowed to meet him and was told to submit her complaint via the ministry’s website.
The mother also alleged that she went to one of the police stations in Dubai on April 26 to register her complaint, but they refused to do so.
